David Gresham Records Signs Dans Dans Lisa

The David Gresham Record Company has announced the signing of Dans Dans Lisa, an all-Afrikaans acoustic outfit consisting of Bouwer Bosch and Deon Meiring from massive South African rock bands Straatligkinders and Glaskas respectively.

DDL perform live shows with acoustic guitars and percussion instruments only. Deon and Bouwer joined forces in September 2009 when both decided that they had a lot of acoustic songs that did not suit their rock styles. They did a few corporate shows together and decided that they should start an acoustic side project. Enter Dans Dans Lisa.

My Eks(kuus) and Sing In Skaamte are currently receiving air play on radio, and the videos are on high rotation on MK. The band is currently recording a 10-track album due for release in late 2010.
