Ster-Kinekor has secured the first feature length "live" concert of The Prodigy's sold out show from their Warrior's Dance Festival at the Milton Keynes Bowl from July 2010.
The incendiary performance - including their biggest tunes Firestarter, Breathe, Warrior's Dance, Smack My Bitch Up, Omen and more - will be screened exclusively at Ster-Kinekor in four cities for one night only on April 14.
With the audio for the screen version having been engineered by Liam Howlet (founder and frontman of the English Electric Dance Band) in 5.1 surround sound, it'll be like standing in the crowd all over again or feeling the full force for the first time off the wall of sound and visuals.
Directed by award-winning documentary maker Paul Dugdale, the MKB footage was devised with heavy input and direction from the band throughout. The screenings will also give the fans a chance to see exclusive footage of the band on the big screen, including a previously unseen short film taken on the road during their Invaders Must Die tour in Brazil. This is an incredible opportunity to witness their untouchable live performance in a unique cinematic surround.
Ticket prices to The Prodigy World's On Fire show - exclusive to Ster-Kinekor theatres - are R65 per person. Ster-Kinekor offers customers multiple booking and information gathering options, including online bookings either on your WAP-enabled cell phone, or PC via http://www.sterkinekor.com/ - or by calling TicketLine at 082 16789 (value added service rates apply), or book in cinema at the self service terminals or Box Offices.
The Prodigy World's On Fire CD/DVD will be released through Sheer Sound & Shelter Music at the end of May.
